This restuarant absolutely blew me away. I came here with my family, we are all peruvian and my sister in law just came to the US from Lima and we had an absolutely exquisite meal. Everything was delicious and well thought out. I really loved the creativity and robust flavors of the cocktails. We ordered a lot of appetizers before our mains and everything I had was one of the best takes on that dish that I've had it a while. This food really does compare to some of Lima's top restaurants. The mains were also so delicious. I really loved the crispy and juicy texture of my Branzino, although I'll say I could come here and eat appetizers and cocktails all day. They were very reasonably priced too! The service was also great and I loved our table. Being able to look directly into the kitchen was a nice touch and the general atmosphere was wonderful. I'll definitely come back and would recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in trying an affordable peruvian fine dining experience.

It's honestly been a while since i've dined at a place where every single dish was really good. My friend picked this place for dinner and she did not disappoint. The inside of the spot is semi-small but the decor and open kitchen setup honestly makes you forget about the size. The staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the dishes/menu (which I always enjoy). We sat at the bar and decided to get a bunch of stuff to share. I feel like sharing a bunch of plates is a great way to for sure get more bang for your buck. For drinks, I had to start with the pisco sour. Really good but then I wanted to get back into mezcal mode and decided to get their only mezcal drink. It was made with beet juice which was def interesting but I can say It was prob my least fave thing of the night if not the only thing I really didn't like. To start we got the artesano ceviche which was 10/10. No notes. Everything was so fresh and flavored sooo well (i'll be dreaming of that ceviche for sure). We also shared the pork belly, the lomo, and the truffle yucca fries. Again everything was top tier. The pork belly was so tender and as soon as you cut into it, It literally just fell off the skewer. The lomo was seasoned perfectly and cooked at the perfect temperature. May really be some of the best lomo i've had. Now the yucca fries here??? THE BEST IVE EVER HAD, hands down. Idk if It was because we sat at the bar or this is the norm for table service but I reallly loved the fact that whenever each dish came out, the bartender/sever made sure to explain what we were eating and gave us some fun facts about the dish as it relates to the culture of peru. This spot is def on the pricier side but so worth it. Artesano will be seeing me again FOR SURE.

A solid 4.5 stars. We were in Tribeca and didn't have any dinner reservations anywhere. We were walking around seeing where to go for dinner and passed by this restaurant. There were lots of people inside and looking at the Yelp reviews, we decided to try. There was a 20 min wait for 2 people and we decided to wait downstairs in the lounge where we could order drinks. Service was excellent. From the host, the servers and the manager, they came by frequently to let us know about the status of the table, ensure we were ok and asked about the food. They also changed our plates and cutlery between the starters, the second course and the main courses. They also provided great recommendations. For drinks, we had the Tea Party and the Pisco Sour. The Tea Party came in a teapot and teacup and was really yummy. My husband really liked the Pisco Sour as it wasn't that sweet but had a nice taste to it. For starters, we had the Artesano ceviche and the Artesano crispy rice. The ceviche was outstanding and I can understand why it is their signature appetizer. The crispy rice was a newer item and was good as well except the sauce was a tad too sweet for me. We also ordered the Pork Anticucho, which was a pork skewer. It was delicious and flavour combination was amazing. For the mains, we had the cavatelli de mariscos (squid ink cavatelli, seafood mix, Parmesan cheese with bisque sauce). It was delicious and so flavourful. We also had the seco pepian (short rib). It was very good, moist and had a very unique flavour combination). We had the potato for dessert. It was served like a show like taking out the potato from the earth. The lucuma ice cream potato shaped chocolate ball was in the chocolate and quinoa crumble representing the soil. Such a cool presentation. An amazing dinner overall and would definitely recommend!

My knowledge of Peruvian food has always been of the rotisserie chicken with the green sauce. So, Artesano blew my mind, whatever we ordered were full bursts of flavor that I hadn't expected from Peruvian food. The chef is also a master of the menu he has curated for his diners. The service was great as they were all very attentive. Definitely make a reservation before you go unless if you don't mind sitting outside. We sat outside and although they were playing great music it couldn't drown out the hustle and bustle noises of Tribeca. All in all it was a great find and would love to go back to try the other dishes but definitely will prepare to sit inside to avoid the noise and the occasional Manhattan critter resident, which you can't really blame the establishment for sitting outside.

Food was so good! Presentation actually was too. They were definitely not at capacity on a Thursday night, so could work for a last minute reservation too. They have ample bar seating too. We did the tasting menu so got to try a number of dishes. The "tea party" drink was so cute, a little sweet. Also tried the pisco sour, which id recommend. Give the restaurant a try. It won't disappoint.

MUST visit!! MUST GET SEAFOOD! It's a little gem in Tribeca. Surprising that it wasn't packed on a Friday night but the benefits of dinning away from Midtown. We sat in the patio, which is super tiny so ideally you would make a reservation. The service was super nice and attentive but not too much. The ambiance of the patio was jungle like and the inside the restaurant was fancy. The food was spectacular! We started with a fish ceviche and a pink cocktail. Both of them were phenomenal. My fiancée said "BEST cocktail I had ever had had"! and the ceviche was delicious!! I got the seafood risotto and it was DELICIOUS.. so so tasty. He got the braised beef and it was decent, not the best he has had. We also had a side of yuka fries with a delicious dipping sauce. Peruvian may be my new favorite cuisine! So fresh, tasty and they also have a tasting menu that we will try eventually.
